I NEED HELP!!!!
i have a 2013 camaro ss 1le and i do a lot of autocross racing and soon will get into road coarses.
Do lowering springs make your car feel bouncy, i have been reading up on lowering springs and a lot forums say they are, but i have not heard about bmr lowering springs doing that. please help i want to buy right now but need this cleared up first. thanks everyone |

Maybe get a nice set of adjustable coilovers so you can dial it in just the way you want it?

i thought about that but holy cow the adjustable coil overs are very expensive and i dont have that type of funds at this point. i have read multi good things about lowering springs this just came up about bouncy and really wanted to know if anyone with bmr lowering springs if they were bouncy or did they help handle better

I put the BMR 1.25 on my 14' 1LE and I don't particularly like them at all. My car has the sunroom and if I hit a dip in the road my damn head hits the ceiling almost every time. It makes me sad because the time putting them in the money for he alignment and bushing reindexing etc plus the price of the springs just would be a total loss to take em out now

Lowering springs will be a more stiff ride over factory. Coilovers will give you full options of how you want the car on height, hard or soft front and rear, also are lighter than stock. They cost a lot more than lowering springs but you are getting so much more. I agree it's hard to layout big bucks but you do get a lot for the money.

I used the hotchkis 1" lowering springs and holy cow!! Really changed the way the car handles in a good way. My wife rides in car and cannot tell any difference in ride comfort. Cheap upgrade that is well worth it. Imho

You need to ride in a car with them. Many people don't like them, those are often people who like Cadillacs. Yes they ride tighter. Yes they technically ride rougher. However I think it is a better ride. I hate the way a Cadillac floats... not driver response.
Both my Corvettes are lowered and I think they both ride better. |

Spend the $$$ on seat time instead, just my opinion.
