any tips on where to find a general ownership/copyright disclaimer.

searching has been fruitless, all I find are disclaimers at the bottom of websites.

I want to cover the front of a CD [lightscribe ] with some general legal jargin that said info or idea's on a said disc cannot be used without permission and the general copyright stuff.

Don't wanna pay to have one wrote, some sort of general disclaimer that gives you a sliver of hope if you had to defend it over none.

And if you'd read the link MC69 posted (especially http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/fa...al.html#mywork) you'd know that putting a copyright notice on something is mostly window dressing that doesn't make it any "easier to defend". If that's really what you want to do, as opposed to just trying to keep honest people honest, you need to register the work.

Bingo, Why Im not gonna pay to really get one, I need it for window dressing to look professional. And maybe, maybe a silver of hope in a case.

not used to indicate protection of the underlying musical,
