what is the point of this???????????
I have been seeing this more and more..
rims way too wide for the tires.. saw a bimmer that was way worse then these but here some sample pics.. Doesnt this make it likely for the tire to pull off the bead holding it on the rim?

Herra Frush stance. It's VIP style, a fad from the orient.
The point is to get the top of the wheel "flush" with the bottom of your wheel well. In order to do that, you need to change the camber so the wheel is tilted. That style evolved to see how angled people could get their wheels. The stretched tire look is something completely different, and I have NFI why or what purpose they serve. Here are some of the extreme camber adjusted cars. |

My rears are like that. stupid salesmad order them as a set (rims/tires) After all the issues, I'm afraid to get the proper size for the rim not too. The tires that are on it just barely miss the inner fender. If I get the correct size, the tire will rub..... Annoyed..... I'll have to get different rims eventually. I'm kinda eyeballing the 1LE rim/tire setup.

I think he's talking about the sidewall of the tires not the suspension set up, but I could be wrong.

The goal with a lot of these guys is to have the wheel poking past the fender and the tire still tucking. While it is not my cup of tea, it does take a lot of effort to have them sitting just right and super close to the fender without rubbing. A lot of them go WAY overboard though..

Reminds me of this from Camaro5Fest II... 285 wide tire on an 11" wide wheel for that same look. Lucky it was a monoblock wheel.
