Where did you get the Hood Pad Plate? It looks like it is metal, how did you get it to stay in place?

It's not a plate.
I spray painted it with app. 10 light coats, Very Fine sanding after app. 5 coats.

There are some cool looking covers on here. I want to do mine as well. I am thinking about orange in the middle and then chrome on the "valve cover" outer parts. I do not know if that would even be possible, but I think it would look rockin'.

I've seen Chrome paint at the auto stores, I don't see why you could not do that on the engine cover if you clear coat it
I did a quick search and Amazon adds the adhesion promoter(which I forgot about)
