ZL1 exhaust leak?

I noticed a puddle of water is what it looks like from the exhaust on the left side. Is this normal? I looked underneath and noticed a piece of tape on the exhaust can to cover it up.

Interesting, never really noticed until now.

I had those on my SS with a Corsa exhaust. I think once the exhaust system heats up the leaking will stop.

Part of the exhaust is unburnt fuel which the is coverted to water, mine leaks out of the mufflers until it heated up

Could be bad muffler bearings.

FINALLYSATISFIED,

That does seem like an odd occurrence. If you ever feel like you may need to visit a dealer to correct this, please let me know. Feel free to PM anytime regarding your concerns.

it's normal, water is a byproduct of combustion

Exactly. Those holes allow the moisture to weep out prevent the inside of the mufflers from rusting out.

100% normal. As other have said, once heated it evaporates, until heated you will get some water leaking out.
