GM and the dealer say it isnt their responsibility and to call my insurance company....not happy right now, first chevy i have owned since my 2000 Z28 ..... these tires have just beaten up the paint, i cant believe they didnt put something of the splash guard/plastic cote on those areas.... great car otherwise after coming out of a 15 mustang, but this paint issue is terrible.......
When new I put these OEM Camaro ZL1 splash guards on and made templates for the body panels and bumper; then cut/applied Xpel film to all areas prone to rock chips; it is working great after 15 months.

And to prevent door dings (on rare occasion I park near another car in work parking garage) ...
I use these homemade side protectors from pipes/insulation parts leftover on home hot water heater install project:

The hook is padded with foam tape.

Slide apart in a second and fit easily in the little Camaro trunk - very light.
When folks ask what those things are on the side of the car I tell them it is an anti-theft device to prevent doors from opening.

With your car still that new did you consider using an Xpel type of film to protect it?
Fairly cheap to do and invisible, I traced and cut patterns out of a roll of paper to make templates and then cut the film to match. Real easy and quick.
No pitting. Even used it on the Halo/HID Projector lights. Nobody notices the film unless I point it out and they get right near the surface at a seam.

My Camaro ZL1 has more paint chips on it after $38,000 than my last 4 cars combined and I owned each 10 years. the new water based paint is terrible.

I just found my 3rd paint chip. I've driven my early '10 SS all over the East Coast and
Canada and only have 3 chips in nearly 7 years and 41,000+ miles. Strange how some
of the 5th generation Camaros have dozens of chips and mine is nearly chip free. Two
on the hood and now a tiny new one on the front edge of the left fender.
Just a lucky duck I guess.

2015 2LT/RS velvet blue with 9900 miles real bad on front end. Don't think GM will help you.
