This was Lutz's idea as the Camaro went into production that no one liked. Lutz strikes again. He thought of this to have appeal to the BMW crowd.

that's a pretty widely accepted tid bit. Lutz was said to have been very involved in the Volt, Caddy and Camaro products.

Sorry if this was covered, are those the ground effects from the ZL1? If so, are they available as seperate part #'s and will fit an LT? |

I am just asking for the source of that info. Either way it doesn't matter. I like chrome, old school I guess.

I think he's referring to the dusk car altogether... That Dusk was built to appeal to BMW crowd.

So is the Dusk the concept form of the "Camaro Executive Express Edition" ?

Somebody has been listening to the masses screaming for this color. Parts in production... Rest of car to match seems inevitable. EXCELLENT catch, OP. I have been screaming for a Dusk Blue for a LONG time, and when they build one, it will be mine - even if I have to wait for a '13 model.

I don't see the attraction to this color. Looks like a dulled down version of IBM. Hard to tell without seeing that one in the sun. But I'd bet IBM has more pop in the sunlight.
Bring back IBM for '13. But this time make the fascia color actually match the body. |

Hold your horses a bit. Just because it's called "Dusk" or whatever in the parts book does NOT mean you'll see exactly what you see in the concept. It might even be a different color!
They haven't even got the right part number in the system for the passenger power seat inner hinge cover yet, so don't go strictly by what's in the SPO system. It does have promise if it's in the parts system already. I'm betting next month they'll have a Dusk edition or whatever they call it out for order.
