Camber/Caster plates!!!
These are NOW AVAILABLE! Click here for a link to the sale thread!
CLICK HERE FOR INSTALLATION GUIDE ORIGINAL POST Hey all, Currently in the prototyping phase. No timeline as for when they will be available, but I am doing my best to expedite these. I am determined to bring you guys the BEST solid mount adjustable top plates for your camaro, and I have spent countless hours planning, drawing, and revising my design to make sure that it is so. Here are some of my goals for this product and notes on its advantages. - One design, that will work for ALL struts, OEM or aftermarket. - NO drilling required. - The versatile design will allow you to position the strut for max camber, max castor, or any split between camber and caster. INFINITE camber/caster split adjustability. - Laser etched measurement hash marks allow for precise adjustments. - 18 mm adjustability at the plate. - If plates are positioned for camber only or caster only, adjustability is increased by 1.45 degrees for the corresponding angle.** - If plates are positioned at 45 degrees for a 50-50 camber/caster split, adjustability is increased by 1 degree for both angles.** - bulletproof 3/4" ID Spherical bearing at the top has the ability to carry much more load than 5/8" bearings that are typically used in camber plates. Spherical bearing allows unrestricted strut articulation unlike factory rubber upper mount. - 20mm ID, double sealed, single row, radial ball bearing isolates strut shaft rotation, and removes steering load from the top spherical bearing. - Rubber padding adhered to upper spring perch removes metal to metal contact and greatly reduces sharp noises when going over bumps or potholes. - Made in the USA. ** note: range of adjustability is dependent on distance from pivot point to plate (i.e. ride height). given numbers are +/- .05 degrees. nice! I like how it's designed so that you can rotate it and pick between more caster/camber adjustment!
