Almost 400 miles on my car now and I love them. I can't think of any cons other than the price. I would buy them again if given the chance, very comfortable.

I would say this. If you are used to a race car seat (I wondered if these would be like a race car seat, hard, grabs you, should be custom fit but couldn't be from Chevy as a mass produced product) then these are nothing like a race car seat. These are really nice and I would do them again in a heartbeat

I have the stock seats and as the Recaros would have been a really nice addition I look at everytihng else I have and wouldnt be able to give up anything else for them. I love the RS package (the HID's, Halos, LED tails) looks really really good. the NPP I wouldn't be able to do without and If I was to get the Recaro's to make up the cost I would have had to give up NPP + Sunroof. The stocks are just as nice IMO. BUT Those Recaro's do look really freaking mean.

I just did a 700 mile road trip in my 1LE this past weekend and the stock seats were very comfortable and I was playing very aggressively with a 911 Turbo for a few hundred miles and I was held in place as well.

Take away... If you have the money do it, if not, well then you have nothing you can harp on if you dont

It's really going to depend of your body type and size. I'm tall and wide so the Recaros are not comfortable for me at all. I would not buy them. The standard seats are much more suited for me.

Also, if you're not going to track the car, I would pass on the Recaros. That's $2k that can be spent elsewhere.

Thanks a lot for the info and opinions on the seats. I just would hate to order them before I had any idea of how they feel.

Also is there any thing different when ordering them on a 1SS VS 2SS or are they the same?

2SS they are heated. 1SS they are not. Only difference.

Where do you live? Might have a member who would meet up with you. Otherwise I am sure you could sell them easily.

I'm in Alamogordo, New Mexico and all the dealers in my area won't order a 1le or ss with the recaros unless its a preorder. The only one that even knew what a 1le was has a '13 inferno orange. But Im 6'2" and it has the sunroof that equaled very little head room.

I'll not tall but I am wide (bummer) so they would not fit me at all. One reason I bought one of the last 2013 in my state as it had all of my preferred options and I wouldn't have got the Recaros anyway. I do wish my seats had suede inserts which I might add later on.

Would 6'2" 205lbs be considered to tall and/or wide?

That can vary from person to person. Probably not though. I'm a good 3 inches taller and weigh more than that.
