After the last coat, while wet, just push on the plastic to make sure it's not touching anywhere. When it dries, slowly remove the bag and you should have no problem. Thats how i did it with no issue.

Changed the manual trans fluid. Used GM ATF. No shift quality change but none expected. Used slightly less than 4 QT's as others have said.

Powder Coated the strut bar/bolts and added an LS3 6.2 V8 badge to jazz it up a notch!
Sold my Near chrome finish C.A.I and bought the black powder coated version with red LED, Looks awesome!!

Also just got back from Lake George, NY for the 4th and my B-Day (awesome little trip)....

Changed the dome light to purple, and wrote up a DIY pdf so anyone can change their dome light color (pdf is attached to first post in link).

Here's a pic of the crappy black aluminum reverse light bezels. I Plasti-dipped them matte black because they were way to shiny. But the fit is horrible. I hold and press them in place, check later, and one of the corners or the top/bottom has popped out. Today I open the garage and the one on the passenger side is hanging halfway off. $45 so they ain't giving these things away. Monday it will be in the mail going "return to sender".

PLASTI-DIP ADDICTED. Did the Strut Bar in a Charcoal (Dark Gray) and the Fuse Box Cover in Red. The fuse box lid was a little over sprayed, but still looks pretty good. Hope it can take the HEAT!
