11/12/2011 (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.
TPW changed to 11/18/2011
I have noticed a lot of strange TPWs lately. I was sure they were always on a Monday but 11/18?

I do hope its built by Friday or you may be waiting until the week after Thanksgiving. I think Oshawa shuts down that week.

Nope, should be business as normal. Canadians celebrate their thanksgiving in beginning of October.

Canadian Thanksgiving is Columbus day, We hit their "Sweet Spot" between thanksgiving and xmas.

Oh, I know the holiday itself is different in the U.S. and Canada, and I hope I'm wrong.....but have you noticed how there are no TPWs for that week?

I've seen 11/18 (Jerry) and 11/28 and 12/01 in the order tracking thread......nothing for the week of 11/21 to 11/25.

I don't know but thought I had read somewhere else on here that the shipping facility is not part of plant operations. Even if the plant is closed for a period or making something else besides custom orders they would still be loading up and railing out the cars that are bayed.

They may be loading and shipping but not everyone here has a built car yet. I just hope to see everyone with a TPW of this week get their car built this week, that's all.
