You know, my parents own a 2004 pontiac G6 that's they're daily driver. It still smells brand new. The only secret he has is one he's taught me, never EVER allow people to eat/drink in your car. Other than that, he vacuums it out once a week.

lol i do i do only 1300 miles on her i know i know i need to drive it more but it honestly does smell brad new.

I thought it was gone when i put her away last winter, but then i got in her and took her out on the driveway and she had that new car smell

I think its the leather though, oh well, i love my camaro

Got mine August 25th, less than 2k miles on it, and yes it still smells new.

Well.............I've never personally had the new smell......except perhaps just after I was born........................HOWEVER, my Camaro friend still has it.....just not quite as strong. I've had the Camaro since November.

4300 miles still smells new. I had a 2006 equinox that I sold to buy my camaro and I didn't think about the smell but i drove to a race with a running partner one weekend and she kept commenting on the new car smell. I think if you don't smell it you need to ride in someones old car for awhile then get back in your car the new car smell is there.

On the subject, but off the subject, I know about 3 different people with 4-5 year old Acura's, and you get in those things and it smells like it just rolled off of the assembly line. I have no idea how Acura achieves that.

Picked car up 3/1, still have smell of course. I hear they make an air fresher that's suppose to smell like new car smell? Its not exactly like it put its close to it I hear, haven't smelled it yet but ill look into it for sure to keep that smell!
