Yes, in the sense that it has the F in the VIN.

But the Zeta II platform is not considered an F body platform

Technically, no. But like said above, there is an F in the VIN.

I can't imagine how that got there! LOL

on the wiki page they do talk about the camaro, with the F in the VIN...
haha, im going to say yes it is. just because i like how it sounds.

Ugggg not again......try doing a search first plz, this topic has been beatened to death in countless other threads.

The"F" was purposefully maitained in the VIN # so the Camaro would remain an "F-body" despite the utizilling the Zeta platform. Motion to close thread.

I did search, don't have time to read alllllll the treads that come up in an f-body search. Sorry to inconvenince you, mabey try not reading a thread you think is usless, or not worth your time.

i for one, have terrible luck with searching on this site.
and i dont mind helping others out who also have trouble
finding exactly what they want to know.

Well if the Camaro team has to actually do change something so that the VIN could have an F in it then that should answer anyones question on if the car is an F-body.

No changes were needed to the VIN's or body platform designations on Gen 1-4.

Make no mistake this Camaro is Zeta with an F in the VIN for nostalgia.
