I'm all freeway most of the time.

In the city, I get beat by fully loaded school busses.

Guess you missed this was about V6 mileage, not V8.

Last trip from AR to PA yielded just shy of 29 mpg traveling between 75-85 mph.

I average right about 20 mpg with maybe a bit more highway than city. I don't hod rod too much, but it is a stick and I keep the rpms higher than an auto would and I'm sure that hurts my average.

Mine has been pretty good, keep in mind this is really ALL city miles at present, I have not had a chance to do any type of road trip. All of my highway miles have been since I got the car are in rush hour traffic both ways, so its really nothing but city, even at that its been around 20 to 21 MPG which I consider that pretty good for city miles. I'm still hoping to get that 30 MPG when I do a road trip.

Nice to hear the v8s are similar to the v6 on the highway if you want them too. They should be with the tremec tranny, since it keeps the rpm so low. The guy who owned my car must have been all city. Explains the high gas mileage when I bought it

Your engine is still kinda new so 18 is expected. Over time, it may get better.

I get 21 lately because I don't drive city as often but I got 19 a year ago.

Driving style makes a HUGE difference. Go 60-65 on the highway and no romping and I get 23 average.
