I just drove mine in rain and didn't have any problems whatsoever!!!! Yes it was raining hard and I wasn't babying it at all. The tires aren't near as bad as everyone makes them out to be when in the rain. I can say that this car isn't for everyone, yes it's loud, no it doesn't ride like the ZL1 or 1LE that we previously had. But 1 thing for sure it can be daily driven!!! I love how everyone says this car can't be driven on a daily basis when they haven't even had 1 mile behind the wheel of it. No it's not for everyone but neither is the ZL1, my wife didn't like our ZL1 cause it always felt like it was about to get loose, I can say I drive the heck outta the Z/28 and it has yet to feel that way. She even drove it to work 1 day and said the same thing. So each of us has our preference and each has their own opinion and that's a good thing, cause I can drive my Z and enjoy it and everyone else can drive the car they have and enjoy it. That's the great thing about having more then 1 engine and suspension package, we can all find 1 we enjoy.

It shouldn't bother anyone. Chevy has been all over the map with their badging designations in the last 50 years.Top dog is strictly a matter of prospective. Top dog at what? Price? 1/4 mile? Road course? Creature comforts.

I never would have thought a name badge would create such discontent in this hobby.

Had they made the 1LE the Z28, I'd be able to have my 6th Z28. Oh well. I'll just have to settle for Z28 Clone. I'm thinking I'll by an SS add the Z28 suspension, splitter, & rear Spoiler. I'll probably add a super charger too while I'm at it. |

I could of bought one (well if I lied to my wife and said it was an SS maybe ) but it's just a little too track focused for my use and my car will see winters. I love all the Camaro's, the V-6 is a sick machine, the SS is awesome, the 1LE is a stunner in looks and handling, the ZL-1 is a boss, and the Z/28 harks back to the SCCA race days. Cool article on the OGriginal DZ302: http://www.holisticpage.com/camaro/camaros/302.htm I am just me, but I prefer and covet naturally aspirated cars. I don't like blowers or turbo. So for my money the Z/28 is the top dog in Camaro land.
