I think that every person should have to serve in the Military for a minimum of 2 years after they turn 18! It would teach em a little respect for their fellow people in our country and others! I served in the U.S. Navy for 9.5 years till my knee put me out and anyone whose served can tell you that there are some pretty hosed up folks out in the world, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't respect their beliefs!

Yea but., The problem with that is you would get people that don't want to be there. And there are already a good amount that are there just for the paycheck and benefits not just to give a service to the people. Draft better left for emergencies as it is. They just expanded the Army by 2 divisions.

True! But countries like Norway have it set up that all have to serve 2 years before age 25 and do you ever hear of issues out of that country? We have to many people that show no respect to our fellow humans! Hell, we have people on this site that can't respect the choice in car someone makes or chooses to buy..... hell, I have bit my tonque a couple of times but their is always respect for the choices they make!

whats a chief E-9 you mean MasterChief, oh and a MasterChief would never call him self an E-9 just masterchief. and the Navy does not go by MOS it's by rating we don't use numbers it's by letters.

Haha no, I was just being silly. Technically, Master Chief in Halo is a Master Chief Petty Officer as well.
