Innovate OT-2 wideband?

I love to hear comments from anyone that has the OT-2 installed in their Camaro. How well does this work compared to other data loggers and O2 sensors? Any quirks interfacing with iPhone 4 or iPad?

How is the Innovate LT-1 compared to other wideband O2 sensors?

I'm interested in this too, but will we not need two LC-1's, one for either side?

I think most everyone runs a single wideband O2 sensor for this type of application. Good point though. This certainly isn't cheap so it would be great to get a review or two before shelling out the $$.

Some of the wireless OBDII apps are also interesting.

its cool for iphone/pad geeks but other than the ability to log data it serves very little practical purpose. In other words you can't tune with it, so why spend the money when you can get HP tuners and do all that a more.

I looked at this and decided to go with HPT, better bang for your buck. I have HPT pro and an LC-1. total investment was $754. Now I can tune all my cars (ALL GM) for any mods I want without having to get a tune done everytime I change up the setup.

typical dyno tunes are 350-400 bucks each depending on mods and what you want done..... so this pays for itself very quickly if you plan to mod your cars!

Good point. I was looking at this from more of a monitoring and learning standpoint. This worth consideration so I don't end up buying twice.

Yes and no. Yes you can tune a host of vehicles with HPT, but there is a steep learning curve to these programs. Im glad you have a wideband because the guys that dont use a wideband are just guessing.

you can tune part throttle fine with stock O2s but once you go into PE you need the WB or I agree your guessing. I don't tune by knock sensor lol

Yes there is a steep learning curve for HP tuners, I have been tuning for almost 5 years now and am a mechanical engineer by day so I'm not easily intimidated by this stuff.

But HP tuners is very easy to use and there is plenty of help files and a forum with very knowledgable folks ready to answer your questions.

Finally you can always just use the scanner portion of HP tuners if you want to look at the data.......just plug it in and hit the space bar and your going.

just my 2 cents

Ken
