Question High Performance Exhaust

Is there a "High Performance" exhaust option on the SS? I thought I remember from earlier reports that they'd offer a more stout, muscle car sounding set of pipes. I'm old school, probably because I'm old .. . If it's a muscle car, I want it to sound like one.

I think GMPP offers a performance catback .. I for one will hold out in the xpipe / catback department until we have more aftermarket choices and then pick the combo that has the best sound ..

I may do the GMPP Shorty Headers though ..

has anyone had experience with the GMPP catback as far as performance and sound? I know it may not be as favorable as a flowmaster, but hey....is it really THAT bad?

GM has put a lot of effort into the exhaust tune. I would expect it to be pretty impressive.
