dude, where you been. LOL you don't HAVE to wet sand color any more. bake\let it dry then sand it smooth.

the clear has OP in it because he put it on pretty thick. Mostly to give us some extra clear to wet sand and polish with and to help protect it on the ride home. He did bake both the hood and the front fascia. so they should be good to go.

The orange peel is in the clear. It smoothed out with sanding. But we didn't wet sand the jpaint before the clear to it's probably why the clear was so pitted. It all came out though.

The base coat when mine was done almost looked like primer. Couldn't see the metallic in it either, until the clear was on.

Like this basecoat

just sayin... car has OP from the factory paint... putting clear and buffing the clear doesnt always get rid of it.

The IOM was similar. The little flake specs were not visible till I polished it.

I gotchya. but the color in this case was sanded baby butt smooth before we applied the clear. I'm not saying you shouldn't sand the color before the clear. but the we know the OP is in the clear as he sprayed it a little thicker than normal and the color was smooth/dry before the clear went on.
