I paid $31,500 for my 1SS and can do the same. Why do you have such a huge problem with folks who like the SS Camaros? It's not stirring the pot to make my recommendation...even if it isn't a V6.

You're gonna love your 2LT RS man. I sure as hell love mine.
And once you begin modding it, you won't be able to stop lol!

Congrats on making the wise transition from Mustang to Camaro.
Welcome to the C5 family.

i've driven the best of mustangs, including regularly driving a friend's Roush 427 for a week or two....the camaro is just so much more fun to be in...louder, feels more powerful, and it just has a certain something that makes me love my car even more than the 1 of 200 Roush....

Welcome to Camaro 5.

It's nice to have the old late 60s competition flying between chevy and ford.

You can find info on just about anything here regarding your planned purchase.

He is just seeing what I mean as to the SS isn't for everybody and the V6 isn't for everyone. Price is an issue with people's purchase as is their yearly income etc. I love an SS and if my finances are even better than now come that time then of course I will make that an option. I love all camaro's as does everyone. THere will always be preference of V6-V8 Manual-Automatic and Red-Black etc. :-D

i didn't imply anything you just said. in fact, not to sound discourteous, but i wasn't even asking you what your definition of "modding" was. i was talking to him, hence the quote of his post. no reason to be nosy or incriminate me for saying things i didn't.

But, if you aren't a track god and like car shows and appearance more it makes sense to some , likem yself to get a 2LT over an SS. There is always someone faster than you out there. But, again thank you all and I am glad to be a part of the community and once I take delivery when I buy I know I will have a perma grin
i see where you are coming from, and good luck. and here's a pre-welcome to the family

I don't have a problem with the V8 at all; my guy has a Z/28. To each his own The way some folks say things can easily be construed as patronizing, thus my appeal to keep this thread cool and not turn it into another mud-slinging festival The mods have enough to do with their time without having to police threads for pissing contests and I've seen a lot of them lately! Sorry if I came across the wrong way I'm certainly glad to see someone leaving the blue pooval for a bowtie, regardless of what model he chooses
