Pegasus Solid Aluminium Subframe Bushings
We are pleased to have in stock out newly designed solid subframe bushing sets. We decided to apply our aircraft experience into these bushings, using through-hole drilling to achieve a 10% lighter (per set) design than previously offered anywhere near our price point, which cannot be beat by any other solid subframe bushing!
Using USA-made 6061-T6 Aluminum, we machined these in-house on our CNC turning center, and anodized them black. Our through-hole drilling is enabled through our ability to drill off-axis during the machining operation, resulting in reduced machining time, resulting in cost savings that we are passing on to you! Just installed your "Pfadt" style bushing, they are boss. I wish I would have seen you were coming out with these ones. They look much nicer

We kept it under wraps, sorry. We try to do good business, and we tried to wait as long as we could to allow all of the ones we made previously to sell, as not to step on any toes. The same goes with the trailing arms and toe rods we are making, we aren't making any more after this run, since we used the previous design. We are going to do a new design, but we already ordered the material, so we have to sell what we have.

Thanks everybody for the inquiries and orders! I guess we should have made more than 10 sets! We will be out soon. We usually pride ourselves on quick production times, but with the holidays it may be after the first of the year before we have any more, so if anyone wants any, just request a price here or by PM and I'll shoot you the best deal around! They can also be seen on our website. These made a HUGE difference on my car, and I switched from stock to poly to aluminum, and was by far the best upgrade I made, even better than the trailing arms and toe rods, or camber plates. The rear of the car is so much more predictable now, it greatly increased my confidence in the corners.

I do a full cradle pull in 3 hours, but I have a lift. Most say it can be done in 3 or less doing the lower cradle/heat/jack up method. Removal is the hard part, new ones slide right in.

I was there when a buddy was doing his. Like you said , he was doing the heat up method. Finding a lift is easy but I'm just thinking of how to remove them if no heat is present.

I use a Sawzall with a long blade from the inside out, with the cradle on the ground. But for heat, a cheap propane torch kit from the hardware store will do it.
