I realize this is not a popular notion, but Chevy has a right to repair it, vs giving you a new car - read the warranty.

Does the front and rear bumper covers have the same paint defect, if the Camaro is assembled anything like the plant I retired from the bumper covers aren't painted with the car body.

Just thought of another thing, the mirrors also wouldn't be painted at the same time as the body....in fact the mirrors many times come painted from another vendor.

I do not believe that mirrors and the fascias are painted at the same time as the body so I believe this damage happened after the car was built. The body gets painted all at once then baked and the doors are removed to have them built up with glass,wiring, mirrors etc. then they are reattached to the car. They should be able to repair this without any problem at all.

No issues with front bumper, roof or driver side door. Everything else has spots on it. Even the hood wrap has white dots all over it ( probably something differernt but still wont come up).
Yes the back bumper has a bunch on it. I should get a phone call today about it.

i would return that car and ask of a buy out option on the car if it is under 30 days .
another thing is they may have to go to bare metal cause of the oil type substance may be coming from there... i hope they get it solved quick mine was built on july 20 and i have looked it over but my car is black and im not sure i would see it anyway....

I would try to have a new car ordered and drive the one you have until the new one comes in. Seems simple their paint is bad, just order a new one for me thanks.
