Auto Geeks Detail Fest info
Quote- "Rencor"
Guys, I just received this email from Mike at Autogeeks and is asking if our club is partcipating on Sunday, March 25th. He is looking for 12/15 cars that can commit from 8:00 AM until at least 2 PM. Below is a link to their website and event. If we do not want to participate, that's cool too. Just need to get feedback so I can revert back to him. Hi Rene, Here’s the link to our webpage about Detail Fest, on this page you will see everything that will be taking place this year at Detail Fest and it’s too much to include in this e-mail. I suggest clicking the link and checking out all the things that will be going on and even sharing the link with your club members or printing the webpage out and pass it around at your next club meeting. 7th Annual Detail Fest http://www.autogeek.net/detail-fest.html I was asked a number of questions recently about having a car club attend our Sunday show and here are the questions with the answers. 1. Is there a registration fee for the invited car clubs on Sunday? No. However we need one person from each club to provide an accurate list with names of those attending so we know how many spaces will be needed to reserve. There is also an option for each club to make a voluntary donation to one or both of these charities that we will be raising money for at Detail Fest. The Humane Society The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2. Will there be Judging and Awards or Trophies for the Car Club Show on Sunday Yes. 3. Will there be a Goodie Bag for participants of the Sunday Car Club Show? Yes. But we need an accurate head count. (see answer to question #1) 4. What time do cars from the car clubs need to arrive on Sunday and when can cars leave? The show start at 9:00am so we need all cars to arrive at 8:00am. For liability and safety reasons cars cannot leave the premises until 2:00pm at the earliest but we welcome all to stay till 4pm. 5. Is there a date that you need each car club to confirm their participation and the head count? Yes. Ideally, sooner is better but if we can have confirmations by February 25th it would be greatly appreciated. Autogeek Spokesperson for your next meeting If you like, Autogeek can make a presentation for your club at your next club meeting to share in a personable way what Detail Fest is all about and all the activities taking place. For example two major TV Networks will be filming at Detail Fest this year. Again, all the information about all the activities taking place at this year’s Detail Fest can be found on the link I provided above including pictures and videos. Here are two threads on our forum with pictures from last year’s events… Pictures from Detail Fest 2011 Day 1 http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...1-day-1-a.html Pictures from Detail Fest 2011 Day 2 (Truck Show) http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...ruck-show.html If you have any questions, please feel encouraged to contact me.
