I have fallen to the Darkside.

Well, ladies and gentleman it is my unfortunate task to inform you that I am stepping away from the 2010 Camaro in every form for now because of one simple fact.. One that even I thought I was above.

I test drove a 2010 Mustang GT. Base car, stripper everything. And.. I absolutely loved it. It didn't fit me as well as the Camaro, but in my opinion I feel as if I cannot have found a better car for my current situtation. After crunching the numbers, and finding that for me a Base GT came out to be:

$26550.90 MSRP

I must post this to complete the fall to the Sith.

NOTE THAT I DID NOT BUY THE CAR..yet..

These were the vehicles I tested/priced:

#1
2010 GT Coup DELX N
4.6L3V OHC V8 Engine
5 Speed Automatic Transmission (995.00)
Candy Apple Red Metallic (300.00)
Charcoal Cloth
Rapid Spec 300A
3.31 MPG Gearing
V+OP= $28,490
Delivery & Destination (850.00)
Total MSRP = 30,140.00

My Price:

Z-Plan Pricing for Retirees: 27,350.90

#2

2010 GT Coup DELX N
4.6L3V OHC V8 Engine
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Grabber Blue w/ Hood-Roof-Deck Stripe
Charcoal Cloth
Rapid Spec 300A
3.73 Rear Axle Package (495.00)
V+OP= $28,490
Delivery & Destination (850.00)
Total MSRP = 29,340.00

My Price:

Z-Plan Pricing for Retirees: 26,550.90

The Camaro 2LT I tested: 29,670.00
As a 1LT: 26,575.00

3.73 rear and a 4.6 Mod V8. You get what you pay for. :/

Pics cause it DID happen: Recognize the Truck?

Not buying it until December/January. Ordering it with the 5.0L in what I have dubbed "Grubber Blur"; Replica 302 decals ordered from Brondes (the dealership) because they did a Grabber last week like that.

Was going to do Sunset Gold, but it's a limited run color and will be out of production by ordering season for me.

I think anyone who is hungry for a Camaro &
then settles for another will be sorry in the long
run. JMO

Plus the rear end sucks on the Mustang.

It is..

And I did (Before it was known as Thor), and Scott actually wanted me to move it at Camp Ti.

But I declined...remember? Yeah, I'm only doing this because the weight and the 302 make it enticing, and I'm paying what I'd pay for a LT on a GT with 400 Ponies.

I'm looking at a 265/mo note on a Base GT over a 415/mo note on a 1SS. Doesn't mean I won't report the weaknesses in the car so that you can exploit them to the D-Bag Stangers out there.

I'm only helping as a 'Camaro 5 Double Agent'.. Now where'd my Walther P99 go?

But what was really awesome was that I met Fbod, and was asked by him to move the car for him to "proper display spaces" meaning "Get them by the road so people can see 'em".

Unfortunately, my fear of the touchy clutch and plain nervousness forced me to bow out and let someone else move it in my place. 'doh. But in the end it was epic, and the food was GOOD! I definitely recommend checking out Camp Ti if you're in the area and need a bite to eat.

TLDR: I was asked by Fbod to drive the Rally Yellow Sexy Beast Machine, but chickened out.

If your going to wait and spend the money on the 5.0L GT then get the track pack too. Although that won't be a cheap car then.
