The big plus side I find is that in a pinch there are 2 seats in the back in the Camaro which is handy when sometimes using it as family car instead of my SUV, LOL. When I really want to enjoy the notes from exhaust even louder, fold down the back seat or roll down the windows. Ron

I just bought my first vette a GS vert. There is no comparison between a Camaro and a Corvette. The GS is an unbelievable driver and with an A&A sc on it,,,,,look out!

Having had both, I can say that the Vette, specifically the Z06's, are some of the best bang for the buck performance cars out there, bar none. I loved both, especially my C6 LS7 powered Z, but my current C5 1LE is an awesome DD, a great track car for occasional HDPE's and track days, and overall a very fun car to own and modify. Will I get another Vette, specifically a C7? Most likely, yes. Until then, enjoy what you brought to the dance, because there's always gonna be a badder, faster, quicker one out there. Followed a McClaren(sp?) 650 home last night, and that thing sounded badass!! Had to laugh at his rapid, frustrated lane changes in rush hour traffic, but would have loved to experience a drive in a $280K sports car......
For a little over $30K (mods not included ), we have it pretty damn good.

Having had both, that included a 600 HP. BLOWN 2003 C-5 Corvette, if you are willing to spend the money on a good set of headers & a straight through retro style 3 in. chamberd exhaust from stainless works (that virtually eliminates the resonators & mufflers), your SS Camaro will sound just as good, if not better than the Corvette that you were referring to!

My good friend still has one of those 03 C-5 yellow Z06's.
He tracked it dam near every week, blew a few engine's along the way. As he use to tell me, these Z06's never like to be supercharged. Never the less, he dropped in a LS3 and never looked back. Still owns it and tracks it.

I was going to buy one because I'm old, but they wouldn't let me drive it because I still have all my hair.
But seriously, I felt like I practicaly had to lay down in it. Just didn't seem that comfortable for a dd.. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

A Corvette is a Corvette and a Camaro is a Camaro, other than both being made by Chevrolet they are two totally different types of cars .Get so sick of hearing some trying to compare to each other. Go buy a Corvette.

I love Vettes for what they are, but have never had the slightest twinge to own one..
6 kids, 6 grand kids and counting. Everything I own has to have 43 doors and 54 seatbelts. |
