These are the first photos we have seen of a group of 2011 Camaro convertibles in preproduction form and out testing. Spotted somewhere 2 hours north of Toronto and in a group of seven, the cars look to be in pretty final preproduction form.

The latest update was that the 2011 Camaro convertible is slated for production beginning in the second half of 2011, although judging by how final the convertible looks in these photos, we would not be surprised if production was started earlier than that!

considering its only my second post i thought it may as well be important

Not really liking the vert honestly. But cool that more of them are floating around for testing purposes

Great pics, Too bad it was raining and the tops were up, but anyways I don't care if others don't like it, My opinion is even with the top up they look better than 90 percent of the ragtops out today...

I agree, and If we could afford one (still no job), That would be our next car.

Is that the satellite antenna on the back of the car? Yuck. I was looking forward to possibly getting a black vert, but that thing is pretty ugly looking sitting on the trunk like that

I think they kept the roofline pretty well from the coupe. But I think every body is wanting to see it with the top down.
