LSXR intake/TB with FI

Was doing some research on the LSXR intake, has anyone had success with these on our cars with this intake? Was interested in the 102mm Throttle Body. I want to run twin turbos and a cam and was wondering if this would be a good addition to the mods? I don't even know if it will show any gains on a N/A L99 but wanted to get some opinions 1st.

i would just get the stock throttle body and manifold ported.

I'm pretty sure I have seen this intake on Silver Bullitts SS. You may want to PM him for his feedback.

the gains would be minimal, if anything, on a Forced Induction setup. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

That's on stock or near stock NA cars. FI would probably benefit from it. There's no point in buying one now though. Why not wait to see if you actually decide to go FI. You're looking at over $1k in parts alone.

Yeah, for the money it's pricey. But, if it's only really for seriously built motors than I wont waist the time or money... at least, till the end. I have decided on going with the twin turbo setup, not sure who yet but I am pretty much going for anyone of the common setups. I will also do a cam swap as well, maybe at that point I can do the intake if there are gains to be had. My ultimate goal is 600hp/tq at the wheels with the L99. I think it can be done! Thanks all!

Well i got the impression from people even with forced induction won't make too much without a cam too .. I was thinking about trying for additional 20hp

Is that why 99% of turbo/supercharger builds in f-bodies retain ls1/ls6 intake manifolds, unless they are going over 1200 hp?

Example... a local person made 700+ rwhp through a t-56/12 bolt, and was on a stock ls1 intake. Didn't even bother upgrading to a ls6 intake.
