That is what, 6 months since first delivery? What is the typical time of release for a service manual?

Maybe they had to correct the inaccurate information for CCB burnishing...

Been wanting one for my ZL1.

Service Manuals are always late on a new model; 6-months allows enough in field experience to provide an accurate final version with out the expense or use limited resources for rewrites along the way.

My preference is to always buy the first edition of a new model since it has the most information directed at making mechanics familiar with a new car.

I prefer to buy the service manual first to determine the level of confidence a manufacturer has in the car.

If confidence is low there will be all kinds of instructions to the mechanic each time a car visits the shop for what to check, re-torque, top up, verify, etc.

For the Z/28 I would not worry, if the intended use is track I would expect many more checks than a simple passenger car.

For instance:
The first year for the GTR included 2-visits that put the car on a state of art jig that measures every critical data point, 4-corner ride height, and suspension geometry measurements as well as accuracy of production located suspension pick up points, Nissan (marketing) characterized this as as a race car level chassis assessment and adjustment.

I have no idea how useful it actually was.

Yep. I've hit their site every couple of hours, and wish they'd provide an update on availability...

So this 2014 set is all-inclusive, as opposed to separate manual for Z/28?
