What ZL1 Performance Numbers Would Satisfy You?
Instead of speculating on the weight of the ZL1 and how the ZL1's weight will cause the vehicle to be failure before its performance numbers have been released, let's turn the discussion around and discuss the performance numbers that a stock ZL1 will need to achieve to satisfy people.
Below are the stock ZL1 performance numbers that would satisfy me: 0-60 MPH: <= 3.8 seconds 1/4 mile: <= 11.7 seconds and >= 122 MPH Nurburgring lap time: <= 7:52

Yep, I would be very happy with those times also and they are certainly within reach!

I'm affraid my expectations won't meet with reasonable numbers, so I'm going to be a little more conservative I'll still be completely satisfied if these numbers are reached, stock, so please don't get me wrong. 3.9 11.8 @ 120 7:50 My 'Ring time is a little lower than yours, however, I think it would be a great accomplishment to get something this low. I think Z06s were running low-7:40s up to now, and though it'd be great to nip at their heels, I think this would be a relatively respectable time. The faster the better though in all my guesses

I expect 0-60 to be around 3.7 and that's all that really matters to me because that's faster than the gt500

Bone stock (including "standrd" tires), sea-level, relistic temps, competent driver, I'd be dissapointed with anything other than:
0-60 - Sub 4 Seconds (4.0X), if not less. 1/4 Mile - Anything less than 11.99 seconds.

Realistically it should be very close to the SLP version. I'm hoping to see 11.7's with good air, track prep and some seat time.

I'm hoping for the following:
0-60 MPH: <= 3.6 seconds 1/4 mile: <= 11.6 seconds Nurburgring lap time: <= 7:46 But I'll be satisfied with: 0-60 MPH: <= 3.9 seconds 1/4 mile: <= 11.9 seconds Nurburgring lap time: <= 7:52 |

under 12 second quarter miles trapping 120mph or higher
3.8 seconds or faster, 0-60 7:48 Nurburgring lap time These are my hopes. Mostly the 0-60 times and quarter mile times AND trap speeds. |
