Guessing these are track only? Since you only bought the rears? What do you plan on running with all the way to Chandler? I need to figure that out still.

Get those in skinnys for the front... haha

Doug, here is the information on the weight of the wheels vs the factory rears.

Forgestar 18x10 = 21 lbs each
Factory 20x9 = 33 lbs each

These are DOT approved but that having been said, I may try to get the wheels and tires in the trunk and have them monuted in Chandler... That is yet to be determined.

My other option is find someone in the Phoenix area that can recieve them and ship the wheels to them, mount them there and then ship them back home after the Fest....

The only thing to be careful of (I had a long discussion with ForgeLine about the SST wheels which have a similar design which is why I bring it up) is that under "ideal" track conditions with great bite and a lot of TQ/HP these wheel have 10 small attachment points between the center and the rim. You may have the ability to snap one or more of those attachment points. Probably not, but just something to be cognizant of.

Was this based on thee massive amount of HP your planning on, or the lesser but still massive amount I'm planning on... there is quite a difference between 1600 and 900, but 900 is still pretty amazing... These are based on a racing wheel, but the cars they are used for are substantially lighter than my 3900 lb Camaro... I've never spoken with anyone at Forgestar....

I guess worse case scenario, I break one and replace them with something designed for pure racing.... that will handle the HP torque....

You guys are killing me 1600 hp, 900 hp. I'm excited with 463. I can only hope to see these machines in person one day and hopefully go for a ride. The torque has got to be amazing in these things.

Bro, 463 is nothing to sneeze at... My Camaro was pretty fast with just the CAI, running a best 12.7 at 113. That was with 375-380 HP...

You car ought to be substantially faster than that, and if your at the Fest, you are more than welcome to go for a ride... You are the first to ask, so you are first on the list if any others want to go... I know Doug is going to take her for a spin (literally) here at some point...in San Antonio one friday night...

Thanks, we get a lot of compliments on him, and he is the neighbor hood dog... All the kids love him, and several of our neighbors come over and let him out through the garage when I'm overseas, my wife is at work, and he is home by himself. He loves nothing more than laying in the front yard and watching the world go by....which is what he is doing at the moment...

Robert, your car is nearing the finish line it looks like. Two random things to comment on.

Why is the fan for the dyno run pointed directly at your licenseplate and not on the side where it can get to the radiator?

I like how in the video the operator is smiling and laughing and then quickly turns serious and whips his head to the left to check the reading. It's like an instant "I'M SERIOUS NAO!!!!" moment.

Please post pics when you can. I like living vicariously through people who get to receive a ton of boxes all at once to open. =)

Congrats on the third Trimester.

As for where the fan is pointed, optical illusion, plate in a bad spot, I don't know... It'll be moved and put on the factory mounting bracket when I get it back...I have a hide a plate, but it looks like a&& and I can't stand it being off to the side... We have a cop here in town specifically looking for me, as he has stopped me three times already, and there is a cop in the PD that has a 2SS with no front plate... If I get stopped again, I will be paying a visit to the city manager and asking the police chief to explain why his officers are above the law... I also need to insure the plate doesn't interfere with air getting to the intercooler... so, it's the factory mount for me, and it'll cover mostly the front bumper cover... not the air flow areas...

As for Corey, he probably thinks I'm a nut case... He is a lot of fun and has a huge funny side, but is all business when he needs to be...

On a side note,

I just got a box delivered to my casa...

Thanks to Camaro21 (I believe he is the one that mentioned them) for the heads up on the deal for these... Got them through Amazon.com...
