Sides might be homemade, but trailer is Harbor Freight. A redneck would have made the trailer bigger and it would have a truck in front of it. You couldn't hardly haul a 4-wheeler on that POS.

I think I would rent a van or get a delivery before I did that.
HD has a truck out front that says "Rent Me" for like $25. Driver even has the top down like that somehow makes it better. My wife even knows better.

I have never had to use a Mustang to tow a trailer in my Camaro.

I saw a Lotus Elise today pulling a similar trailer. I couldn't believe it.

If you know you occasionally need to haul items in a trailer, do not purchase a muscle car as a DD. It is not what they are intended for. Priorities...priorities.

I think a pretty good case can be made for intentionally buying a muscle car for that, as long as the tow weight stays within reason. Better power, better brakes, and a firmer suspension are the kinds of things that make towing easier and safer.

Having one's appearance sensibilities offended without seeing the advantages isn't very enlightened, and it's not like the trailer always has to stay attached. Frankly, there's no way I'd buy a truck or SUV just for infrequent trailer towing needs. Giving up the fun to drive part all the time for a conventional trailer towing appearance once in a while is a lose-lose proposition.

Long time ago a friend of mine used to tow a little pop-up camping trailer behind his late-60's Corvette. When he felt like playing, he'd show people the trailer's taillights running from a stop light.

I'm getting closer to needing a tire trailer to help support a track day habit.

She drives the "support vehicle" as it is, at least for the times when we're making a get-away weekend out of it and need to fit two people and still more stuff. I can't ask her to pack tires or other bulky and typically dirty (and frequently soaking wet) things in her car's back seat. Neither of us would drive a minivan, SUV, or truck for any other reason (and would probably begrudge every mile of having to even for this).
