New Amphibious Camaros! warning slightly graphic

This was over at the Chevy Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, same place they had Camaro5 Fest the last two years. It rained extremely hard even producing hail for a good 30 minutes or so. This is the aftermath of the rain in the Chevy booth. In the middle of the tent the water was about knee height, they had a Hotwheels addition 69 or 70 that was parked there before the rain. It had been moved to higher ground when I went back to the booth after the rain. Luckily the cars only sat in the water for a little while about an hour or so later they had pumped most of it out. Anyways thought I would share.

Damn! That is hard to look at. How much damage? Knee deep water? Hail? Hail damage can sometimes be fixed but if the water got up into any of those cars then they are totaled for sure. Hard to think about my Ruby & all our cars sitting in that same spot just a little while ago. I hate to be the one to say this but....................now we plan to have the next fest in rainy season in flat flood prone Houston? Just a little scary. Thanks for sharing the pics. Got any more?

The water is not high enough to damage the cars. However, the hail might be a different story. Did you see any hail damage?

No hail damage from what I could see. The only car of real concern would have been the 69-70 hotwheels camaro sitting next to the 5th gen hotwheels camaro. It was located on the far side from the picture I took and the water was deep. Not sure how fast they moved out of its location. Don't think the water was high enough to do any damage to the cars, but if I had a choice I rather buy one that was not sitting in water vrs one that was.

That's not good!

At least the water wasn't too much higher, would have caused some serious damage
