Engine Temperature Gauge

I am looking to install an AutoMeter engine water temperature gauge but other than where the "Idiot sensor" is at on the driver's side head, is there another place to install the new sensor. I have looked but do not see another so I may have to remove the "Idiot Sensor" and install my own but I was trying to have both. Any comments????

Why would you need a 3rd reading for coolant temp?

Folks, I have always had a separate water temp gauge, air/fuel gauge, and fuel pressure gauge installed in my "spirited" drivers. The original question is asking for a location not "why I should install one". Just looking for a little help which is what I thought that is what the forum is about......helping other 2010/11 Camaro owners.

I will only help you by informing you that the "idiot" sensor is not really and "idiot" sensor. It does read a proper temp range. A third temp gauge is a waste, Air/Fuel gauges are a waste, fuel pressure is handy though.

The forum is also about telling those when they are wasting time, making bad decisions and just plain being goofy. Not to say you are doing any of those things.

Just don't get mad when the "advice" isn't always in your favor.

Who said I was mad....I was just hoping that somebody had an answer to the original question.....not looking for advice.
