My Daughter took mine to her High School prom. The car is a possession, my Daughter is a treasure.

Even though I do not like to take "Daisy" ( cars name) to any place I can not park a million miles away this nice place has valet parking. Should I trust them or say bump the classy ride to dinner and go in my old mans family car?
Hire a Limo.

I wouldn't trust some punk with my SS let alone a ZL1.

In college my best friend was a valet for a pop night spot. After the stories he shared I would not valet ANYTHING!

Now why would you want to hire an English guy to park your car when they have steering wheels on the wrong side?

...my only thought is...do you take it out with her, and stand on it?...valet parking<strongly avoided, I did that back in the day> , is a major concern... parking safety is another issue, depending on one's location....just sayin'. Mine is my co-pilot, and risk goes hand in hand wiith reward between marriage and machine. But to play if safe I think it would be better to use the beater. Let us know how the evening went! I can't afford to go out to dinner ...but on occassion I put Shell 93 in mine for fun with the wifee and put it through it's paces...like in the old days, but we had crazy Sunoco fuel back then, sorry I digress,...rock on brother. Enjoy!

I hate valet parking. I'm not worried about my items in the car (although I had a radar detector stolen in Vegas by a valet). I just hate the idea of some teenager driving my car the last 50 yards. Honestly, I drove the 10 miles before that; I can handle the last few feet. Extra risk and extra cost. What's the point?

I'm not sure how built up Chesapeake is but maybe you can find a place nearby to park instead. I'm guessing it's not like Manhattan or DC and you can find a suitable place on your own.

If you are going to a truly nice place, then Valet is the way to go. Tip them a five or ten when you drop it off and check the mileage when you get it back, but you should be fine.
