I hate valet parking. I'm not worried about my items in the car (although I had a radar detector stolen in Vegas by a valet). I just hate the idea of some teenager driving my car the last 50 yards. Honestly, I drove the 10 miles before that; I can handle the last few feet. Extra risk and extra cost. What's the point?
I'm not sure how built up Chesapeake is but maybe you can find a place nearby to park instead. I'm guessing it's not like Manhattan or DC and you can find a suitable place on your own. |

If you are going to a truly nice place, then Valet is the way to go. Tip them a five or ten when you drop it off and check the mileage when you get it back, but you should be fine.
