Where are you and what is the weather like? The RS has summer only tires so if it's cold you will feel evet bump

I would say it's normal ... Both of my cars have a stiff ride compared to a sedan. But the SS is way more stiffer than the LT, no worries ...

1. -- 36 psi in all tires -- less pressure in radial tires can make a car ride rougher....

2. -- the 20s will ride more firmly - simply because of the profile of the tire -

3. -- lower ambient temps tend to make the Pirellis ride more firm until they warm up

4. -- go drive the competition and I think you'll find that your Camaro rides as good if not better.......

.........it's a Sports Car..........

A note to the original poster........

Your profile says you drive a "2011 Camaro" --

........and you live in the "USA"

That makes many people suspicious as to whether or not you actually own a new Camaro. There are many "Trolls" that come on to boards such as these and make 'statements' ......

I'm not saying you're lying to us - but please understand that your Profile and some of your answers make some eyebrows arch.

If, in fact, you own a new Camaro - welcome! We hope it will be the best car you've ever owned! May I suggest that you update your profile to include the model and color of your new Camaro - perhaps even the transmission............and you might also want to let us know in what city and state you reside.

If you do not own a new Camaro -- well --

Perhaps the original poster could describe what a "Bumpy" ride feels like in other terms or more descriptive language. Compare that to something perhaps that would be considered a "normal" ride or a "non bumpy" ride, for some perspective.

After that, then the answers could be more specific to the issue.
There's bumpy, and then there's BUMPY. Bumpy is how the ride fills when the tires are over feeled and you're on a regular road. BUMPY is how the ride fills when the wife slams inta' the curb or drops hard down inta' a foot deep pothole.

I always noticed when i drove fords the driving comfort in general was good but that's because their suspension is mush they bounced all over it definitely smoothed out the bumps but a great sacrifice to handling..

Hey there RSokie,
I also traded solstice for camaro. YOU ARE RIGHT...the sol had one hell of a rough ride. But it was an interesting car. Wish I could have kept both of them. No regrets about going to the camaro though. It rides like a '59 cadillac compared to the solstice.
