Found a website online, powderperfect.com, that does powder coating - According to them, a set of four rims costs between 250 and 350 to have powder coated.

I was going to say that powdercoating is cheaper than you would think. You just have to check around on prices in your area. V & L Powdercoating in Apple Valley is a really place and they have a quick turn around. I know a lot of people I go to the desert with use them to powdercoat their sandrail frames.

Indeed - it involves baking a coating onto a metal surface. But, its for that very reason that it sticks for longer.

He actually does. He's got a body shop across from his Mech shop.

Well cool. I wish I knew some people who could paint my crap for me. I do, however, know a few extra hands to help me install stuff, but nobody who paints and what not. My sister and her husband once thought about opening a body shop, but they never did. Settled down a bit, you could say.

im just not a fan of black wheels... they just remind me of spare tires.. the only reason i let them go with beast is because first and foremost i HATE when colors clash.. i actually think im a tad OCD about it.

but i will say.. that they would look better, if the lip was chrome or bright silver....

just my opinion though.
