This is when it was fresh off the delivery truck. The driver was kind enough to deliver it at 9PM Before the sun went down, my wife snapped this. Stay tuned for more.

Hey Everyone, new to camaro5 and picked up my 13 1LE in May. I'm near the east side of Indy. Thanks to Camaro_Corvette for pointing me over here, I'll watch this thread to see what's going on around here.

always check the very first thread in the post, 2010Pace keeps big dates/events listed. You should have made it out to the Pep Boys show yesterday, a big group of us were there.

Howdy! A Hoosier transplant to New Mexico here saying hi. I did meet a few of you back in October 2010 at Mike Norris' dyno day. We are here visiting family and friends. If you see a black Camaro with NM plates around the SW side, stop and say hi. Also my dad is a member on here ... Indykid. We may be at the Moofesville cruise in tonight, first Friday next week in Danville, and the downtown show next week.

Hello Folks ...I am hosting the Camaro Corral at the Indianapolis ALMS race July 26th...Here is a couple of shortcuts that the guys from the group have sent me. I have been told that they are meeting with drivers today at Watkins Glenn for a driver autograph seesion for Camaro owners. I also have two tickets to somebody who would be interested in purchasing for twenty bucks a piece. Another question is...does anyone have a suggestion on a nice place to stay. I am coming from Wisconsin on thursday...Best Regards Smokey jr.

We have had "July 26 IMS Grand-Am Race Day Camaro Event? (TBD)" on our calendar all year and heard rumors that someone would be organizing a Camaro Corral.
Thanks for the link to purchase car club hospitality for $125. Is the "Camaro Corral" simply part of that, with a designated row or corner for Camaros only? Personally, I have contacted my Chevy dealer last week to see if Chevy will again host local Camaros that day. If so, then I'd try to get vacation that day during a "no vacation" period at work. |

Is that $125 a person? Or $125 a person w/car and corral then what would an additional passenger cost?

That's kind of what I thought. Not sure why it went from $50 to $125. Maybe they were shocked at the turnout and thought they could 'earn' a little more money.
I went from "can't wait to see it again this year" to "I can't afford that". |

I called my dealer today who does not know of Chevy hosting anything for Camaros that weekend. That would have been the cheap or free way to fun, food, and maybe laps.
I would still take a free ticket or two to the July 27 NASCAR Nationwide Series race which does feature Camaros. As for the corral, $125 ain't free and cheap to maybe park with other Camaros in the sea which is the infield. |
