I have an L99 but am worried about droning, etc... Is that why you removed them?

If you are doing this and leaving the stock headers and resignators it sounds beautiful. i had this with the stock system and it sounded beautiful, Good low tone and not too loud. I did 1 7/8in headers and high-flow 3in cats, so with this system it was a straight-pipe system. so in my case it was too loud and i had to do a muffler.

No, I don't have a sound clip. Just too loud for me with performance headers and hi flo cats! It set off car alarms at an idle pulling through my parking garage at work. That loud. But with a stock header and resignator it had a beautiful tone!
