They are nice, my dad and grandma have matching Crystal Red LTZs.

Funny tho, he also drives a supercharged 2007 GT

I was so excited to show him my Camaro in 2009... I met him with it at a car show. As we were walking to it, he says... "ya know, I just don't like the new Camaros" :(

That's exactly what happened with the Vert I ordered back in January.
The car was made on 3-22-11, left the plant property 3-24-11 and sat in an 'overflow' lot next to the plant for 4 weeks.
All I wanted was an answer from SOMEONE as to why it was still sitting in a lot after 4 weeks.
My dealer made many inqueries on my behalf but they couldn't get a good answer from anyone in the GM supply chain of command.
The dealer was very helpful and did all they could, but we never did get an answer from anyone in GM.
I finally got tired of waiting, found a similar car at a local dealer and bought it instead.
Of course the car left the lot in Canada the day after I aborted the order. Murphey is indeed still alive and active.
Of course the dealer now had to find another buyer for a fully loaded $50k+ Vert just because we couldn't get an answer from GM.

May be mistaken(and not sure it included Camaros) but wasn't that around the time when the transport dispute was going on between the Hauler, GM and Chrysler affecting a bunch of deliveries?

It was just after the strike was over. It was not one of the cars the trucking company was holding hostage. Some speculated that when they couldn't ship any cars because of the strike, the cars they continued to produce were simply stored in lots next to the plant. Someone suggested that that was why my Vert was in the lot so long. They thought that perhaps my car went into the 'temporary' lot, then when they started shipping the cars again, they had a backlog in the lots, and some of those cars were forgotten till they could be re-introduced into the shipping schedule.

Dealer called me today from Roger Dean in West Palm Beach and asked me to come in and place my order. He explained to me if his allotment is 2 and I am number three then I am out of luck. I think we all need to understand this important fact, it is all about the allocation numbers. If you are on the list and they have the numbers then you get one,,,,,,,go place your order now if your dealer gives you that option. Simple.
