Dash lights!
I lost the remote to some interior dash lights I got. I'll describe them don't worry haha
Okay so the light it self is 9 leds, on a 3x3 board. It can change to 16 different colors via the remote and the remote also had like 4 other modes, like strobe, flashing, something else and a mode where it would go through all the colors. There was a brightness button, and that button would affect brightness as well as speeding up or slowing down the strobe. The light in my car has been on red for awhile now lol, I don't know what the brand is, I just want to email the company and see about getting a replacement remote. Thanks. |

You are describing a basic RGB remote. No need to contact the original company. Any basic RF remote should work for you. Here is a sample of your options that I found on ebay. Based on your description I am going to guess yours was similar to #4.

Dash lights!
The programming I am not sure. I actually have a few of these remotes laying around and they all control each other's lights even though they were all purchased separately. I have a dome light similar to yours as well as a trunk light and the remotes both work on each. You may just want to do some searching online to see if you can find how to do it.
