Preparing for rainy drive?

My 2013 Camaro 2SS/RS is my daily driver.

Tomorrow seems like its going to be a rainy day which is the first in my month of ownership.

How should I prepare for bad weather? or even worse weather (ie snow)?

If I get stuck some how up hills etc. is it better to turn traction control off? I know some cars it could make it worse.

If you have the Pirelli p-zero tires they are not to good in rainy cold weather. They will lose traction very easy as they are only a summer tire. Just take slow and you will be ok.

Rain - you'll be fine, even Pzeros I never had problems in rain, just watch your right foot

Snow - Pzeros won't work very well if at all. Switch to all seasons or snow/ice tires for the winter, anymore than 2-3 inches of snow don't drive the Camaro. Keep traction control on, these are heavy cars so that helps too. Just don't gun it go slow and you'll be fine.

I prepare by getting in my truck. Never had a problem in the rain using that method.
