Help me out here....does this mean that until 500 tickets are sold there will be no Camaro prize?

This raffle will be considered as a "fifty-fifty" drawing (defined as a 50%
even split of the proceeds between the holder of the winning raffle ticket
and the United Way of Kankakee County) until a total of 500 tickets have
been sold (for a total of $50,000.00). After the United Way of Kankakee
County has sold a total of Fifty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($50,000.00) in
raffle tickets for the prize, United Way of Kankakee County shall cause the
2010 Camaro 2LT to be purchased from Country Chevrolet in Herscher,
Illinois, whom will sell the 2010 Camaro 2LT to the holder of the winning
raffle ticket drawn on March 25th, 2010 for a price of Twenty-nine Thousand
Seven Hundred Thirty-nine and 01/100 Dollars ($29,739.01) which shall be
paid by United Way of Kankakee County.

Good point. If they're putting stipulations on it, I'm not buying a ticket only to learn that I won but won't get the prize.

Sounds like you'll at least get 50% of the amount sold if they don't sell 500 tickets, $24,000 cash isn't bad. You're actually making out... If they sell more than 600 tickets, you're no longer getting 50% of the profits.
