6 rib, 3.2 pulley with Maggie?

Has anyone been able to run a 6 rib 3.2 pulley without any belt slippage? I want to drop two sizes but were concerned about getting slippage. Just looking for some opinions or experiences. I'm trying to avoid converting to the 8 rib.

2.9" here too. Only 8.5 psi though. I think you need to consider how much boost you'll be making vs how big the pulley is. You'll run into belt slip based more on boost level than pulley size. Boost = load on the belt (more or less). Let the engine breathe through cam and exhaust upgrades and you'll make more power with less boost. Less boost = less heat.

I'm at 10 psi right now and I know in my head that I shouldn't go for more boost on the stock bottom but it would be an easy way to make power....probably for a limited time.

The desicion for now is to drop the drag radials for 17" slicks and try again. The car was just overpowering the track and no sense of shooting more power to the ground before I can use what I already have.

Thanks guys.

Have you considered going with a 10% overdrive crank pulley. That is what I am doing ...another guy at speed inc did that with a 3.6 with 0 belt slipage.

Crank pulley is 8 rib but don't need to use them all now.

How are you getting fuel to that monster. I tried a 3.6 and ran out at 5800RPM had to go back to 3.8 until I solve my fuel problem.
