I read something about em just last week, I will go search for the thread, I remember they are the Stainless 2" size. Somewhere on eBay you can buy em way cheaper than 43.98 for 2 plus shipping.

I thought someone said not to use these the other day. The more tricks you play on your ecm the more chances you have for those few seconds of leaness that can pow your engine. Carma is a bit** so dont play to many tricks on your ecm!!

This seems safer than just turning 'em off with a tune.

You do more then just turn them off with a tune. You also adjust the fuel map so it doesnt run lean.

I have these to go with my car and there are a few guys on here that have installed them. I think the guy that hasn't popped a CEL is CamaroCowboy. But I plan on using them as well.

Sorry...have to raise the flag.

3,000 trouble free miles with the extenders. Plenty of hard pulls. These will not cause your car to run lean. The rear sensors do not control air/fuel! They are merely there for emissions purposes to check to make sure the cats are working! The front O2 sensors control air/fuel. You are not messing with them.

This! Thanks for setting it straight.

btw SOLO sells the extenders used on their hiflow catted mid-pipes. I know first hand that they work.

For the rear O2s, I thought you just shut them down.

these extenders must be for people that are unwilling to get a tune.

I don't think it's unwilling I think it's more can't afford, or aren't finished modding yet and want to get one big tune.

Got ya I did not realize they were for the rear. My were shut off in tune as well. So looks like this would be a good thing for rear 02's for people without a tune. But to get max power a custom tune is well worth all of the money!
