Anyone else having issues getting their parts

I ordered some carbon fiber tail lights bezels from Double D Mods on May 8th and I still don’t have them. I really wanted to have them on the car before I left for the Sturgis Camaro rally. I don’t understand if it’s them of G3 carbon. I also ordered the carbon fiber ZL1 rear spoiler from G3 directly after they told me that I would have it before the rally and nothing from them either. I have tried calling and sending emails and I get nothing. I leave tomorrow morning and I’m a little bit ticked off that I don’t have my parts and that I can’t even get an answer as to when I might get them.

Anyone else have similar issues with these guys?

You will never get your parts from G3. I fought with them for months (9) and finally received my spoiler which was in fair condition at best, and I still have not received my badges. Those guys suck, especially Alan. I have an email chain of my transaction that would make you sick. I finally had to reorder my parts through Nathan Moreano, who did a group buy through Seibon. The spoiler was an absolute work of art. Sorry. I can work a deal for my spoiler from G3, but not sure you will get your $ back from those guys...

G3 takes your money then lies to you about your product progress and you will never see your product. I have been waiting over a year. Good luck ever getting anything from him other than a bunch of B.S. lies.

If they (G3) gives you a shipping number and asks for final payment, do not pay final unless you physically receive the item. The shipping tracking numbers that they provide are not valid and are sent out to get you to make final payment only, and you will still wait months until you get your order, if you ever get them.... This has been experienced by several members of this forum.... Cut your losses and find another supplier, hopefully you are only out a deposit and not the full amount.

Didn't realize that Double D Mods uses G3, that's good to know... I wanted to get the Schoshe CF kit for when I replace my head unit. Maybe they will switch to Nathan Moreano....

G3 Composites

Jason,
I just arrived at Sturgis, you need to look me up and I can give you another similar story with my hood insert! Look for the 2013 CRT vert with Iowa plates missing the hood insert! Take care.

It is a lot easier to make a profit when you never actually send the product that was paid for...

Open to suggestions, but being 1500 miles away and having wasted way too much time and $ on it already, about all I'm wanting to put into it at this point is warning others when I see this issue come up.

I paid $3200.00 up front. Got all of the same stories, poor staff, bad partner, could not drop off at UPS due to parts not able to fit in car, tracking #'s that never
materialize, etc. You guys know all of his excuses, we have all been told the same lies. When I finally did receive my parts (2 of 10) (6 months later), I just sent them back. I disputed with my Bank and received a full refund. Alan has convinced himself that the problem is his staff, partner, who know what else, he is the owner and he is the problem. What did he think, no one would share their horror stories, poor business man. It's amazing how many customers local to him that did receive their orders, makes you wonder.

It seams like only those customers that are local get their parts and are happy with him? We just need to keep the pressure on this story so other people don't loose their money. I really hate to see or hear other Camaro5 members loose their money. Hopefully they do more research before ordering anything from him!!

Of course I got the same old story that my part, it was going to be waiting here at Sturgis for me. What do you think, no part was here to install. I'm sure I will get lots of questions and be damn sure I will let them know all about this company, G5 Composites out of Florida. You have been warned!

Bill.
