Real life looks vs online pics opinions?
Just wondering what folks impressions are that have seen the new Camaro in person, compares to the online pics & vids?

Night and day, I'll say that. It's a hard pull not to really trade my SS in for a 2.0T because after really cruising it, it's a tossup. Both cars are very comfortable but the '16 is easier to live with as a DD with their more 'drivers focused' setup for controls actually working in your favor.
It's one of the few gripes I've had with my Camaro; the infotainment and control systems are difficult to use if you have a stick. Then again, most usually are, but even trying to tune the radio or change songs on your iphone are a pain. I honestly can't wait to drive the 2.0T though, see what a 3400lb 4pot Turbo Camaro can do against my 6.2 SS bruiser. I'll definitely be ordering one if not just to get it on the lot and decide then and there. Hyper Blue. All. The. Way. |

Pictures do not show all the new styling details.
For instance: there is a crease running from just ahead of the rear tire to the back of the car on the flat top of the fender. I have not been able to see that in any picture. You need to actually put your hands and eyeballs on the car to really appreciate it. And, you also need to sit in it. This is a whole new Camaro experience.

I agree with stmbtwilli. Some of the contours of the body seems to be flatten out by the pictures. For example the back of the Camaro doesn't look as bland as it does in person. When you see It you know its not a 5 gen Camaro even for a spit second or at a far distance.

I don't think pictures do this car justice at all. Much better in person.

I would say it would be same as when the gen 6 ford came out. Many hated pics, but later said in person it was much better. I still don't like the s550 as it looks like most other cars on the road. There is no mistaken the Camaro, and the 6th gen looks like it will keep that iconic look.

I'm pretty sure when I see it in person It's gonna look awesome. Nothing like seeing it in person than seeing just pics of it. Big difference

Huge difference... when I look at the the pics, my reaction is, "Gee, that's nice!"
When I saw the car in person, my jaw simply dropped. Best regards, Elie
