Finally got to sit in one at OKC Auto Show
WooHoo, finally got to see the Camaro up close and sit in it. It's VIN was #5. It is at the Oklahoma City Auto Show. The car is red and with black wheels. V6 very basic config model. Would have been much better to have a nicer one on the car show. The driver seat seemed odd, I couldnt get it to adjust. I did see the cyber gray color on a new ZR1 vette - that is now the color of Camaro that I want.

usually they pull power to the vehicle when it is parked so that the seat motors dont get overused and whatnot.

I posted in another thread about seeing it last night at the preview thing. I was thoroughly disappointed. Definitely made the trip to Dallas in September to see a black RS at the bbq totally worth it.

Ya I saw the black RS at the texas state fair when I went to OU vs Texas, made me want to get what I have on order, and glad I saw it. Was pumped about the OKC Auto Show, was hoping there would be something nicer than what we got. Oh well, at least I'll finally get to sit in one tomorrow.

Maybe I couldnt get it to adjust because I was just to excited. Yes, I had the 1980 Z-28 and the 1984 - ready for the new one in about a year if I can still get one!

I really hope it's not going to head north to KC for the auto show here next weekend. I'm dying to see the camaro, but I was really hoping to see something better than an LS with the black wheels. I've not been at all impressed by the pic of that one that I've seen. But I guess have one is better than having none.

AZfan Sands Cheverolet in Surprise Arizona has two Camaro's for their grand opening (2LT, 2SS). They let you sit in them adjust the seats and everything. They got them a week early for their grand opening. Cars will be there until this Sunday. Wife and I checked them out last weekend and were blown away. She's 5'1 and Im 6'2 and car seats adjusted to comfortably fit us both. I loved the interior and the view was awesome. The windshield is a little less tall than a normal car and it made me think of looking out of a knights helmet (dont ask me why) but it just felt bad ass. Plus when you look in the mirrors and see the rear shoulders it looks way cool.

Just got back from the OKC Auto Show. I was shocked to see that they had the base Camaro there while I did see top of the line ZR-1 and CTS-V. Even Dodge had a Challenger SRT-8 on display. On the other hand, Ford did not have the Shelby GT500 at the show. I did get to see the G8 GXP and I am hoping GM will build a coupe.
