Order Finally Submitted - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After 1 1/2 weeks of waiting on my dealer to submit my order, I finally have a number. I kind of wanted to sit down and go over and make sure all of my options were correctly inputed... but my wife just got a call with an order number and that was it!

Dealer said I was #7 of 9... so I'm not sure what that really means to me. He said he's already received 2 of his cars that were ordered originally. He also said that it should be in within 6-8 weeks.

I'm still not sure? My salesman wanted to run my credit to make sure I could afford the car (this was last Saturday), and wanted to take a look at my trade-in. I'm young, so I could understand his hesitation in ordering a car for me.

However, I bring my trade-in on Saturday, and the sales manager meets with me, and is completely baffled on why my order wasn't placed last week. He said it would be placed this Monday when the allocation manager came in, and would let me know the order number.

I guess it makes sense a bit, since I have some negative equity in my current trade-in, but I didn't see it as a huge issue since I'm putting 5K down.
