Passenger side looks the worse, I'm not sure all of that will buff out completely. It all depends on how deep it went into the clear coat, hopefully not into the basecoat. If you don't have much experience with paint correction, I would leave it to a pro.

The passenger side is worse and I do not have much experience so I am leaving the rest to a pro. I tried just to see if the orbital I had would get them out. I could prob go by hand and use some rubbing compound and then through the different steps and maybe get them out but I will see what these yahoos say. Most of the driver side came out with that but not completely. I cant really tell if it is into the base coat but I dont think so. I know the paint on these cars is pretty thin so that scares me a bit.

Funny you should say that I just emailed RPI about getting some and some splash guards. Already noticing a few chips on the gills from rocks.

Give me 2 minutes with my porter cable DA and those scratches would be gone.

It is still inexcusable, but that is fixable. I would ask them to pay the bill.
May need a little touch up as filler and then wheel it, but it will be unnoticeable when done. A professional detail shop should be able to handle that for you. If you dont have one you use or trust send me a PM. It is a little drive to Birmingham (45 mins) but I have a guy I have know and trusted for 13+ years out here that has fixed some things for me....

What jackasses. Why can't people treat other's cars like their own?

Does that include letting other people drive your car?

Wow, those scratches along side of your car where your gas tank is, made me ill. That would piss me off as well. I would just take it to a professional detailer that you trust and just get your whole car professionally done at that point. If you can swing the bill. One thing is certain,.....I would be sure to let everyone know not to go to that window tint shop for sure.
Good luck man. I hope it works out for you. |

Man, that sucks. I feel your pain. Is it so hard for shops to BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE CAR!
Hope all goes well w/repair.

Yeah, they probably had belt buckles and/or tools that were rubbing up against the car.
