Wow!! Way back when the wheels were stolen off Number 3, the tow truck driver told me they were offering him a 5 digit re enlist bonus. Damn!! you guys had to all go get upity and get Osama Binwhatshisname and now we don't need you all.

They military is now just another big business and every business is trying to get as lean as possible. Manpower seems to be the easiest way to cut back

Maybe if they reworked some of the contracts and quit paying a hell of a lot more than market value for parts they could keep us!

My unit doesn't have the funds to keep me, and I am a reservist.

Dude, what the hell is up with PTS... that is a crazy... With the Post 9-11 GI Bill out there. I'd get out too. My wife is using it and it's awesome...

PTS is brutal. Its focusing on junior personnel while the new ERB boards (E5 and above) that are hitting us are chopping about 3500 experienced personnel by 2012!

no way...
Some guys are getting chances to cross rate but most are not. The guys that do have the chance are still getting kicked out because there are thousands of people competing for very few positions. Its crazy right now.... I'm really leaning towards getting out.
